“Drink Your Breakfast!” Smoothie

I don't have to say, "Drink your breakfast" to this kid!

I don’t have to say, “Drink your breakfast” to this kid!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 c strawberries
  • ¼ c creamy peanut butter
  • ½ c quick cooking oats
  • 4 ice cubes

 Instructions:

  1. Toss all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend on high.

Here are some ideas to get your “kid cook” involved with this recipe:

  • Have him peel the bananas.
  • He can lick the peanut butter off the spatula or spoon – this will keep him busy for a few!
  • Practice counting with the ice cubes.
  • And push the blender buttons of course!
