Better Than Ranch Veggie Dip
on December 2, 2013
Have fun with your veggies!
My chef brother-in-law asked me to bring veggies and dip to a family get together. He said I should try mixing ranch with parmesan cheese and freshly cracked pepper.
So I did.
And it’s great!
Now, we often have it in our fridge with fresh veggies for dipping anytime.
Just for fun, here’s more on veggie trays…
My attempt at “Elmo” for Ozzy’s first b-day party. Maybe all tomatoes would’ve looked better, but I was going for variety.
My attempt at “Oscar the Grouch”. Again, I was going for variety, but all broccoli would’ve looked better.
P.S. The eyebrows are a chocolate covered banana with coconut.
Do these faces remind anyone else of the old Photoshop tutorial?
Ever dipped fresh, raw green beans? They’re delicious!
Feel free to snitch a few more before guests arrive.
But be careful not to get any in your hair. (How does this happen?)
That’s enough dip for you, Sir. If you can’t keep it outta your hair!
Just kidding. You can have more dip. Oh, you don’t want any cause veggies are so good they don’t need any? OK :)
- 2 parts ranch dressing (We use Pfeiffer - not only is it really good, but it’s cheap!)
- 1 part grated parmesan cheese
- freshly cracked pepper to taste
- Mix ingredients.
- Dip veggies in it.
- Eat them.
Get Your Kid Cook Involved:
- Have him do the mixing.
- Talk about the veggies… colors, tastes, textures, etc.
